With twenty years experience establishing and running different companies alongside working as a designer, photographer, illustrator and publisher, I am an experienced creative and business director keen to use my skills for good not evil!  

Owning and operating my own book publishing company, Beatnik, for the past ten years means I have extensive client liaison and budget management experience. I am adept at managing a variety of complex projects, often with conflicting priorities.

I am skilled at motivating and inspiring a variety of high performing individuals, within and outside the creative sector. I have especially enjoyed mentoring the young people who have worked for Beatnik. I bring personal passion to any project that I take on and believe that working empathetically with others is important.

On a personal level I lead a life that is all about maintaining balance, minimising environmental impact and nurturing relationships.

I’m not scared to take on the big issues in conversations and to state my point of view, but my true talent lies in creating a safe space that allows people to open up and talk freely. This then results in people feeling confident, and the ideas and inspiration flow.
